The Calhoun County Groundwater Conservation District provides for the renewal of groundwater production permits under Rules 4.4, 4.41, and 4.4.2 of the rules of the district. The rules specify that the well owner, the authorized agent, or the authorized operator of a permit shall submit an application requesting the renewal of the permit at least ninety days (90 days) prior to the permit expiration date.

Application to renew a permit can be submitted by:

  1. completing an electronic application using the ELECTRONIC APPLICATION TO RENEW A PERMIT (recommended);
  2. completing an electronic report using the Permit Renewal Application Map;
  3. emailing a scanned hard-copy of the completed application to admin@calhouncountygcd.org;
  4. mailing a hard-copy of the complete report to CCGCD, P.O. Box 1395, Port Lavaca, Texas 77979; or
  5. delivering a hard-copy of the complete report to the District at 131-A N. Virginia St., Port Lavaca, Texas 77979.

Alternatively, applicants to renew a permit may print and complete the following blankpaper-based form for this purpose:
